United Kingdom
1. Scripting Editor - London
Deluxe Media leads the advertising and entertainment industries with innovative supply chain solutions that help market, enrich, and enable media distribution to all platforms and all consumers throughout the world. Deluxe Media is a global company with presence in 9 countries & their clients include the major Hollywood studios as well as a growing number of online retailers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creation of As-Broadcast Scripts, Dialogue Lists, Spotting Lists and Continuity Lists for film and television series, including transcription of spoken dialogue and spotting/timing for subtitle creation;
- Responsible for completing scripts in deliverable condition by internal due date and/or client due date;
- Responsible for ensuring scripts are error free and meet the highest industry standards as well as unique client specifications;
- Perform QC and Proofing of scripting files that are created by other transcribers;
- Set up and start scripting files for other transcribers when accelerated turnaround times are necessary;
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
- BA degree required.
- Transcription and/or Spotting experience.
- Must have a great command of the written English language and exceptional grammatical skills.
- Should have a well-rounded knowledge of historical and contemporary events.
2. Audio Typist - Edinburgh
A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Audio Typist within the General Surgery Department at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
This post will primarily involve audio transcription of medical correspondence.
A keen attention to detail is essential as are good literacy and numeracy skills and a good understanding of confidentiality.
As you will be required to deal with a wide range of people, a polite and courteous manner is required as well as a methodical, organised approach to work.
Efficiently and accurately type correspondence for the Directorate of General Surgery.

3. Medical Transcriptionist - Mumbai
Currently there are three different vacancies available at Vitality BPO: one vacancy for a Transcriptionist, one for a Medical Transcriptionist/Quality Analyst and one vacancy for a Quality Analyst.
Although not much information are provided with regards to the vacancies, we do recommend heading over to their website to apply and/or inquire with regards to which qualifications and experience they require.
4. Medical Transcriptionist - Hyderabad
Currently there is a vacancy for a Medical Transcriptionist at the Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities:
- Typing reports relating to Pathology and Radiology in an accurate fashion;
- Fast typing speed.
Experience:
- 1 Year (Preferred).
Education:
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass), (Preferred).
Salary:
- ₹180,000.00 to ₹250,000.00/month.

Canada
5. Transcriptionist - Alberta
Currently there is a vacancy for a Transcriptionist at A.C.E. Reporting in Alberta, Canada.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass exams: typing, grammar, spelling and punctuation;
- Must pass a Security Clearance to Enhanced Reliability Status;
- Be willing to work evenings/weekends;
- Be willing to work within strict timelines;
- Complete knowledge of the current version of MS Word.
Qualifications:
- 70 wpm, excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills.
- Can work independently or with a team.
- Legal or transcription experience an asset.
- Office education course an asset.
6. Transcriptionist - Toronto North
The Transcriptionist’s core responsibility is to transcribe a variety of dictated reports, letters and forms accurately and in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pull documents dictated in English from a central FTP site and transcribe;
- Transcribe documents dictated in English;
- Ensure documents are free from spelling errors and are grammatically correct in English;
- Adhere to confidentiality policies regarding all data transcribed;
- Assume additional duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English;
- Previous bilingual transcription experience; preferably in the insurance industry;
- Excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar and vocabulary in English;
- Computer proficient, particularly in Microsoft Word with a minimum of 65 wpm dicta-typing;
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction;
- A basic understanding of the insurance adjusting industry and a background in insurance would be considered an asset, although not a requirement;
- Priority will be given to candidates with a post-secondary education in a related field;
- They will be a well-organized and detail-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
