1. Transcriptionist and/or Proofreader of Deposition and Legal Proceedings
Transcription or proofreading of audio recordings (with related court reporter notes) of depositions or court proceedings at your home or wherever you choose.
Excellent typing, listening, punctuation, spelling and grammar skills, as well as basic competence with computers, Windows, word processing software, the Internet and email are necessities.
Experience typing deposition and court/hearing transcripts preferred.
If you type a “job,” it will be proofread with the audio by the court reporter or a qualified proofreader. If you are the transcriptionist, transcripts you type and submit are are expected to be 95% verbatim and accurate. If you perform as the proofreader, your completed transcripts are expected to be 100% verbatim.
Pay is by the page per the current industry standards which will be discussed at the time of interview. Additional fees are paid for difficult content and when expedited completion is required.

2. Medical Transcriptionist – At Home
Looking for a transcriptionist with minimum 5 years’ experience in urology. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Very dependable. This position is for an independent contractor; payment is by line. Part time/full time. Working from home.
