1. Legal Transcription

PT legal transcription positions available. Work from the comfort of your home doing legal transcription.

Please note that this position is available to PA residents only.

  • Candidates must be able to come into Johnstown, PA for one full week of training, Monday-Friday, 8:30 – 5:00.
  • Candidates must have 40+ wpm, with good computer, spelling/punctuation and grammar skills.
  • High speed internet and a PC with Windows/Microsoft Word is needed.
  • This transcription opening pays $0.67 per page, with paid training in Johnstown.
  • Clean criminal background/drug screen required. EOE.
  • Job Type: Part-time;

2. Digital Court Reporter/Transcriptionist

Job Description/Opening available for Rochester and Buffalo, New York residents.

ARII is a full service court reporting and transcription firm that has been providing verbatim transcripts for over 25 years. We obtain digitally recorded files from several different methods and entities and then produce transcripts.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills:

  • strong keyboarding skills (at least 70 wpm accurately);
  • strong understanding of the English language, spelling and punctuation;
  • Notary Public;
  • Computer literate (able to upload files and download);
  • Highly attentive to detail;
  • Able to take good notes;
  • Microsoft Word knowledge;
  • Confidence with setting up electronic equipment;
  • Reliable transportation.

The successful applicant will be trained in the use of the digital recording systems to capture the audio of hearings, meetings, depositions and arbitrations. The court reporter must be comfortable interacting with judges, attorneys, hearing officers and arbitrators in a professional legal setting.

The captured audio is then transcribed and this candidate will be expected to be able to take an assignment and transcribe it and will be paid at a per page basis which will be reimbursed according to your understanding and ability to incorporate our company style and formatting requirements (with typing you have the ability of being full-time). So typing speed and language skills will impact your ability to generate income.

3. Associate Translation & Transcription Project Manager

The Associate Project Manager role is our entry-point into project management at Multilingual Connections, and candidates for this role are typically recent college graduates or those new to the language industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Project management:

  • Quote new translation and transcription projects, prepare files, proactively communicate with linguists, desktop publishers and clients. Create and manage project timelines. Conduct quality control and prepare files for delivery.

Organization:

  • Update systems with pertinent client and vendor information.
    Reporting:

Prepare weekly and monthly status reports as needed.
Problem solving:

Identify best use of resources; analyze, escalate and resolve problems as they arise and develop a plan to prevent future problems.

Financial:

  • Meet/exceed gross margin goals while maintaining quality standards and schedules.

Customer Service:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills;
  • Enthusiasm for language and culture;
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects to ensure high quality and on-time delivery;
  • Really, really, really detail-oriented – and you LOVE it!
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment but also independently;
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail;
  • Tech savvy: preferred experience with Google Apps and CAT tools;
  • Preferred experience with translation and/or transcription;
  • Bilingual preferred;
  • Sense of humor ideal!

4. Transcription/Voice Recognition/Quality Assurance of other MTs

Integrity Healthcare Documentation Specialists is a small, locally owned Healthcare Documentation Service based out of Rio Rancho, NM. We are currently hiring IC (Independent Contractor) MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONISTS for the following account needs:

ON THE EDITSCRIPT (eScription) PLATFORM:

VR Editing positions – Acute Care and multispecialty positions available IMMEDIATELY, with a higher rate of pay for those who can primarily earn their lines during the “off hours.”

QA Team Members (requires QA experience in addition to below, and we are looking for those who can help fill in gaps). Position Requirements:

We hire within the US ONLY.
