ARII is a full service court reporting and transcription firm that has been providing verbatim transcripts for over 25 years. We obtain digitally recorded files from several different methods and entities and then produce transcripts.
Successful candidates will possess the following skills:
- strong keyboarding skills (at least 70 wpm accurately);
- strong understanding of the English language, spelling and punctuation;
- Notary Public;
- Computer literate (able to upload files and download);
- Highly attentive to detail;
- Able to take good notes;
- Microsoft Word knowledge;
- Confidence with setting up electronic equipment;
- Reliable transportation.

The successful applicant will be trained in the use of the digital recording systems to capture the audio of hearings, meetings, depositions and arbitrations. The court reporter must be comfortable interacting with judges, attorneys, hearing officers and arbitrators in a professional legal setting.
The captured audio is then transcribed and this candidate will be expected to be able to take an assignment and transcribe it and will be paid at a per page basis which will be reimbursed according to your understanding and ability to incorporate our company style and formatting requirements (with typing you have the ability of being full-time). So typing speed and language skills will impact your ability to generate income.
